Introducing Simon Hunt
Vpod is pleased to announce that Simon Hunt has joined our team as Director of Sales and Marketing.
Simon joins Vpod Visitor Management from his previous role at Condeco Software, where he was Global Partner Director and Director of Strategy Partners and Alliances. Previous roles in the Facilities Management industry include Regus/IWG, where Simon spent 13 years in a variety of commercial roles both on the Office and Meeting Room products before developing their digital trading capabilities as Global Product Director eTrading & Channels.
During his time at Regus/IWG, Simon developed the world's first online meeting room booking system system. He grew the Meeting Room business from £6m to £18m in 3 years, in the height of a recession.
Simon brings with him a wealth of experience in Sales and Marketing and will be bringing this to Vpod to drive revenue from a high dependance on hardware-based revenues, helping to convert it into a software and data business with a higher percentage of recurring revenues.

Simon’s firm belief is that winning requires 125% of effort, that you only give, when you love your challenge (i.e not just a job). He believes that Vpod which has a terrific culture already, will benefit moving forward from three key ingredients, he sees as essential for success:

We have recently hired three "digital ninja's" all graduates with Marketing and Communications Degrees who "eat a task and love to learn". Its especially enjoyable to see the speed they learn and move at.
Simon is a passionate believer in the connected workplace and moving every workplace from being a simple "dumb real estate container", to one that is an intuitive workplace, instinctively reacting to the needs of the people in it. He believes that if a workplace doesn’t become intuitive, with a superb experience, the workplace could become irrelevant.
His goal to help that Intuitive workplace transition, is to make Vpod extremely relevant with a unrivalled partner ecosystem in the industry, that focuses on delivering the connected workplace to a growing customer base, of Blue Chip customers.
